Thomas Eychenne on the Path to Historic Success in Main Event

The Main Event, with a €5,300 buy-in, saw a total of 1,011 entries, but only 48 competitors remain after the third day. Leading the pack is chipleader and EPT Barcelona 2025 Main Event champion Thomas Eychenne, holding a stack of 1,846,000 chips. Eychenne has a remarkable opportunity to secure his second title within a year.

To achieve this historic triumph, he must surpass other notable contenders like Mehdi Chaoui, Ognyan Dimov, and defending champion from 2024, Derk van Luijk, all positioned within the top 10. Every remaining player has already secured at least a €16,100 payout, but the ultimate prize of €825,000 remains the target.
