The main event of the inaugural collaboration between HansiMania and GRND LIVE boasted impressive numbers. The Main Event with a 250CHF buy-in recorded 836 entries, including 624 unique entries and 212 re-entries. This brought the prize pool to 183,920CHF, with 101 players advancing to the final day, all securing a min-cash of 495CHF.

The champion was set to receive a 35,550CHF bounty, contested on a televised table for viewers to watch the entire marathon live.

As hours ticked by, the field steadily thinned. But because of laws requiring the casino to close by 5:00AM, a champion wasn’t crowned. After 15 hours of gameplay, a moment occurred which will be talked about in GCLI for a long time. Monday’s continuation didn't last long. Before the first hand was dealt, both finalists agreed to a deal that adjusted the payoff structure. Bingo4Bongo secured 29,820CHF, Alexander Weckerle 27,300CHF, but the trophy and title were still at stake, ultimately going to the Swiss winner.

The showdown came when Weckerle hit two pairs with K d J s, but Bingo4Bongo held Q s T c with a completed straight on the turn. The river changed nothing, and the Main Event crowned its champion. Bingo4Bongo conquered the most critical moment of the festival, securing his name as the champion of one of the year’s biggest events hosted by GCLI.
